Thanksgiving 2009

Thanksgiving was a wonderful time spent with the in-laws. It was great because we were all able to be in Woodward together. Aaron and I drove down on Thanksgiving day with his sister and her family arriving that night. His brother and his family arrived the next day. Aaron and I tried hard to get there first because we wanted to good bedroom. I wasn't aware this was the case; however the last time we went to Aaron's mom's house with his sister, they ran inside first to get the good bed. So...this time, we made sure we were there first so we could have the good bed.

The time together was great. Lots of time playing outside and some time sitting around the table visiting. Unfortunately, over the holiday, Aaron did have to do some work. At least he was able to go!

Friday night Melissa, Devin, and I all had a girl's night out and went to see New Moon at the Woodward, OK theater. So we're all waiting in line outside to get tickets. We near the building, finally get inside, and then purchase our tickets. As we're walking in, a gentlemen stops Melissa, who was carrying her large purse, and he asked her to go through her bag. Of course she agreed and inside she had an almost empty bottle of water that she forgot was even in there. He made her throw it away! It way crazy. I get that they don't want you bringing in your own popcorn, snacks, and drinks into the theater because they want you to purchase their stuff - that is how they make money anyway. But Melissa's half drunk bottle of water! Seriously! Oh well. :)
Nick and Jade, both who have November birthdays, got to celebrate their birthday while we were all together. They're growing up so fast!
