Gas Prices - Good or Bad

Because I do less driving these days, I don't fill my car up quite as often. Being that I used to drive to Bushland to work, I'd fill up about once a week. Now that we have the truck that we use on weekends, I think it's about 3 weeks between fill-ups.

Today was the day I had to fill up my car. I was on "E". In fact, I drove home yesterday on "E" and probably should have filled up at that point. I was tired and wanted to go home so I said to myself "I'll fill up tomorrow morning on my way to work." (Anyone who knows me knows this is a very funny statement...do anything before 10 a.m. - doubtful!)

Well - it didn't happen on my way to work because I was running late and decided I could make it to work, but I'd have to drive directly to a gas station after work. You may be thinking to yourself at this point, "She ran out of gas, didn't she! You'd think she was smarter than that!"

Actually, no. I didn't run out of gas. I did pay $1.45 for a gallon of gas, though. WOW! Considering that about 3 to 4 months ago it had almost reached $4.00/gallon, that's pretty good. I filled up my car for under $20.00! I honestly don't know if that's ever happened. Here's the catch, though...I was disappointed because had I filled up last night, I would have been able to fill up at $1.34/gallon. Teach me to procrastinate!

Now, I'm all excited about the low gas prices, don't get me wrong, but is anyone else starting to get a little worried? I mean, this is just a sign of the times. I don't want to pay $4.00/gallon for gas, but I also don't want to get caught up in these stressful economic times. Are the low gas prices a good thing or a bad thing? What do you think?

Honestly I think gas prices being this low are not a good thing. I am not real sure why but I have had a bad feeling for some reason about how low they are getting. I am not complaining as far as how much we save. I just worry it is a bad sign. And Jenn dont procrastinate early bird gets the gas. Look at me Mr. Procrastinate him self. ha ha. Love ya
