The Friday before Thanksgiving 2008

Nothing special, really, about this day other than it's Friday. That always makes the day special.

Aaron is having to work late tonight and work this weekend which means I'll probably get a lot of stuff done I wouldn't have done otherwise. I seem to work on cleaning and laundry a lot more when he's not around. It's probably because when he's there we spend our time doing other things. Not that I wish on him having to work late, but it's good for me because I'll get a lot of stuff done and out of the way.

I also hope to get my two master's courses wrapped up this weekend - with the exception of the finals. I plan to start working on those by Wednesday. I hope to complete them so that I can enjoy my Thanksgiving weekend and not have to think about work or school. That hasn't happened in a while. That will also give me a couple of weeks break before I start the Winter Intercession. I just keep thinking - "you're almost done - you can do it!". Only one more year left and that year won't be as "cluttered" with classes as this last year was. WAHOO!

Additionally my friend, Ladonna, and I will be doing our shopping for our Angels we choose from our work Angel tree. I choose two. In year's past we've done it as a component, but this year didn't happen that way so I decided to choose two of my own. These are kids in the Panhandle of Texas. It always feels good to give and this is just one of the ways I am giving this season. Even though I'm not a big shopper, I'm looking forward to doing this shopping! :)

TGIF and may you all have a wonderful weekend!
