Let me take a moment and tell the world how wonderful my husband - Aaron - has been during the year and a half we've been married. Yes - I do realize it's only been a year and a half, but these are qualities that make up him as a person and therefore, I believe, will not change.
My husband is a man of his word. If he says he's going to do something, he does it. In today's world, this is a great quality to have as many people (including myself at times) don't always live up to.
He is also a thinker. At times, this quality has bothered me (because when I make a decision to do something, I just do it - he thinks about it and finds the best possible way); however, this is a quality I have come to greatly admire and appreciate about him. This quality, to name one example, has meant that we got a great deal on a used truck and will guarantee (when it we move that direction) that when we buy a house, we'll get a great deal on a house we really want.
My husband is also thoughtful and compassionate. He wakes up every morning and makes coffee so it's ready when I wake up. Yes - he says this is for him and I just benefit from it, but I know better. He would go to the ends of the earth for me if I asked him. These qualities, though, don't just get extended to me. They extend to other people as well. If he values you, you will never meet a more loyal guy.
My husband is funny. This, for me, is a great quality to have seeing that I love to laugh. He makes me laugh.
Most of all, though, my husband is my best friend. We enjoy each other's company and just enjoy being together. That is the reason I know we will be together forever!
As I start 2009 married to a wonderful man, I am looking forward to many more years together.
